Love their bruschetta appetizer!! The blend of oil and vinegar always just right! I've had their chicken parm and most recently the eggplant was spot on (and I am fussy on that one as I like my sauce on the side!!) Soups good too!!

Went to this place on Friday night. The wait time ended up being 20 minutes longer than what they originally told us (30m). While we were waiting the waiting area smelled like weed, but it was probably one of the patrons at the bar. The rest of the restaurant didn’t smell amazing but was fine. The service was OK. Our server seemed annoyed at times, but the assistants or bus boys were great. The wine list was mostly grocery store wines, would not call it a great selection. Food was hit or miss, some of our party loved their food, another only ate a few bites before giving up on it. Portions were very large, we probably had leftovers for 2 more meals. I probably would not return given the option.

Came to eat and was told at first that all tables were filled and then when I asked how long of a wait the hostess informed me that they actually weren't taking anyone else that night. It was around 530. This was after getting 3 small children out of the car. Noticed it looked like they were set up for a function in the next room. You should of put a sign out or something.

Super good food but the service leaves a lot to be desired, a waiter with blond hair arrived and didn't even look at my face, this needs to improve, the way he treated me was super rude, the place was very noisy

First visit here. What a great place. Love the ambiance. Great decor. Waitress and manager were very engaging and attentive!! The food was amazing--cooked perfectly and was very delicious. Sauce was very rich, thick, and full of flavor. I highly recommend this place, and we will be back!!

Went to Calabrian today about 230pm today, not realizing that they close from 3-4. Couldn’t have been happier with the service and food we had! Service was excellent,and inrushes. Food was fabulous. Thank you for making our afternoon wonderful. And sitting outside was the cherry on top

Tonight was my first time here and I can't wait to come back! What wonderful staff, food and service! From making reservations the night before to ordering dessert it was a very pleasant experience ! Theyre Alfredo sauce is the best I've ever had in my life ! Thank you for a wonderful evening!

A taste delight with absolutely amazing authentic home made Italian (that sauce was to die for!! And like nothing at all in a jar you've ever tasted. Caesar was out of this world good. The young wait staff could use a lil more friendly, genuine warmth but service was ok. The food ..OUTSTANDING!

Good drinks, good food and large portions, excellent serving staff. Parking adequate. I give it a thumbs up. Had a second visit May 1, 2024. Ordered the Chicken Marsala. Other restaurants that I've ordered this meal provided a much better version of this plate. It tasted more like balsamic than marsala. The two other diners that I ate with had no complaints. The order I had needs to be Improved.

I loved this place!! The wonderful man in my life brought me here for the first time the other night, and It was a wonderful little place. The atmosphere, people, staff members, and ambiance were simply wonderful!! The food is so good, and the portions are no joke, I ordered the Gnocchi with Bolognase sauce, and it comes with a salad. It was delicious. I was able to eat a good amount, take the rest home, and still was able to make 2 meals out of the leftovers. I did try to Tiramisu with the amaretto, and I felt like I was in HEAVEN!! It was silky, delicious, not too overpowering, and just melted in my mouth. I 100% recommend this place. Perfect for a first date, night out, or family dinner. 🥰

Great food draft beer is flat service terrible meals were not served together table not cleared between servings. Owner walked around but only seemed to be concerned with local people that he knew. Bottom line is if you want good food and bad service enjoy Calabria

We've been here several times but the last few were not that great. Second to last visit, the aribrio rice was mushy and old, and the last visit my husband had some kind of seafood dish on the special menu that he said tasted not fresh and like the seafood had been frozen. Drinks are pretty good.

My husband and I go somewhere different every single Friday night. What made this place different was Sam… she was absolutely amazing. Very attentive, very knowledgeable and overall friendly. If you’re looking for great food great, and great atmosphere ask for Sam and she will take good care of you.

Upon a spontaneous decision, we visited Calabria Restaurant in Millbury, MA, right after picking up our daughter from daycare. Despite the last-minute nature of our visit, they graciously accommodated us with a reservation. The dining experience exceeded our expectations; the food was nothing short of fantastic, offering a genuine taste of Italy that is hard to come by. Moreover, the wine pairing with their restaurant week menu selection was thoughtfully curated, enhancing the overall meal. Excellent meal from start to finish. Excellent service but waitress was too busy talking to help. The helper waiter was much more attentive and helpful. Still Excellent visit and will try again. Lamb chops were amazing! Veal Saltambucca very good!

This is my sisters favorite restaurant so we finally all went for her birthday this weekend. The food was delicious!! I had the chicken parm and it was a huge portion that I easily could have split with two other people. It came with a salad to start. The prices are great for the amount of food they give you, definitely worth it over going all the way in to the North End like we were originally going to. I would love to go back and try other dishes. They get busy so make sure you make a reservation!

We came for dinner on Monday night, it was a quiet atmosphere not busy at all and probably for that reason I would expect a better service. I ordered a cocktail that was sitting on the counter for good 10 minutes by the time it got to me I felt like it was room temperature. Other than that it was very pleasant evening, food was great , the portions though lol they were sooo big I didn’t see my face but I did saw my husbands when they were putting the plates on the table ha ha I can’t even tell you how big the portions were, we took so much food home . I actually been wondering how does this restaurant make money serving portions that generously. Well I would recommend this place and I will be back myself as well . One other thing that I really thought was awesome is that they were playing Italian music and not just random radio , makes a whole different kind of experience . Thank you .

Moving to Massachusetts and craving genuine Italian cuisine..Found it! Absolutely delicious food! The chicken piccata was perfect and the classic chicken parm was done right. A plate of food to get you to loosen your belt buckle and have leftovers! Then came the cannoli! Fresh cannoli couldn't have been better. Friendly staff and a clean dining area. So grateful i found my new spot

The first time we tried Calabria was approximately 1 month ago. I ordered the carbonara and my husband ordered the chicken fettucine alfredo. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. We loved it so much that we ordered from Calabria every week for the whole month. On 11/11/22 (Veterans Day), we ordered take out. The same meals. When we got home and tried it, it was horrible! It was definitely not the same quality. Not sure if it was a different cook or we ordered on a bad night, but it was horrible. Calabria lists the Carbonara as having panchetta. Each time I ordered it previously it had panchetta. The evening of 11/11/22, they must have run out of panchetta because they put regular bacon in it. The worst part was about 90% of the regular bacon was fatty and uncooked, making it inedible. My husbands fettucine was way overcooked and soggy and some of his chicken was undercooked. We paid 30.00 for the Carbonara and 32.00 for the chicken fettucine alfredo.
I immediately called Calabria and asked to speak to the owner as we were both beyond angry. A young girl answered the phone and told us the owner was busy and would call us back. After a half hour when no one called us back, we called again. We were told that the owner was busy in the kitchen and could not come to the phone. We could not believe that the owner couldn't come to the phone and deal with an unhappy customer. It is just bad business practice. I don't care how busy you are. It is now 3 hours later and we still have not received a call from the owner. I CANNOT recommend this restaurant. It is obvious they are understaffed and the owner does not care about customer satisfaction. Calabria just lost a customer. Honestly if the owner had the common courtesy to call us back and deal with the issue instead of ignoring us, I probably would have given them another chance to redeem themselves. Sadly that was not the case. They don't care about Customer satisfaction. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Great food with generous portions of a wide variety of Italian dishes. The service is wonderful and the atmosphere is very cozy. I ordered the chicken and broccoli fettuccine over penne pasta. The broccoli was cooked just right, not too hard, not mushy and the chicken medallions were just right. The dinner was delicious and there was plenty left over for leftovers.

Hidden in Millbury ma. A great dining experience if you like Italian food you will not be disappointing my friend Dave recommended it to me and it was a Great experience terrific Italian food a great bar and a very nicely renovated restaurant very comfortable nice staff Patio dining is also available we will definitely be back the chicken cutlet and the eggplant were delicious

This is a takeout review. All food is eaten promptly in the vehicle. I ordered garlic bread, meatballs, and chicken parm. The garlic bread did not have much flavor and was disappointing. The meatballs were heavy, most, and tender but were not cooked in the sauce giving them a baked texture and flavor. This also made them a little rubbery. The chicken parm and pasta was very good, very filling, and nicely cooked. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 7.5.

We visit this place at least once a month as it is walking distance. Tonight was a mixed review. Wife asked for combo egg and chicken parm which they accommodated her 👌. I had the scallop special that was nothing like the description. Ended up with just bread crumbs and scallops, no sauce as described in description. Scallops were good so didn't complain but mentioned when paying. We ate at bar and our bartender was 👍. I have had better experiences there but we will be back as we do enjoy this place !! Worth the visit if you haven't been before.

I have eaten there a few times food is great. I was there a few weeks ago and all I can smell is cigars. Reminds me of a old time bar. I had my sweater on the back of the chair and could still smell it after returning home. I had my daughter smell it and she confirmed it did smell like cigars. We went again last Thursday and again it was very strong on my coat when I got in my car. I mentioned it to our waitress and she stated the owner smokes cigars. My guess is he does this in the building after hours. So gross and not appropriate behavior for a restaurant owner.

Both the service and food were great. The menu is very confusing. Some dishes count pasta as a side, stone do not. So it seems to affect whether or not salad will be included without an upcharge. Come on, all traditional Italian dishes should come with pasta!

Stopped in for an early dinner. Oddly they are closed between 3-4. Ran a quick errand and came back. I ordered the chicken Parm. Chicken was great. Personally I felt the sauce was good tasting but watery. Maybe a result of a lightly strained pasta. Portions were decent. You won't leave hungry. Good service with plenty of staff on hand. Will be back.

Our first trip to Calabria after living in the area for many years. What a delightful place! The special - pan seared scallops with butternut squash and risotto - was delicious. The husband raved about his veal parmigiana especially noting how good the sauce was. A really nice atmosphere with very nice staff - we will definitely be back.

Last night I went to dinner with my daughter and was put in the back room with 2 parties of over 8 people. When I asked Brianna our waitress why 2 people were sat in a room full of parties, she shrugged it off. When she came to get my card to pay our bill, I put my hand on it to say I didn't appreciate the way she was treating us she walked away laughing and rolling her eyes calling me crazy. Who on this earth should be treated at a restaurant or anywhere like that. I will tell anyone and everyone NOT to go there. And if they do... Just make sure you don't have Brianna because she can't be bothered with people.

We came during previous ownership and were extremely disappointed in portion size compared to price. Now with the “adjusted” ownership, we decided to visit once more and both my boyfriend and I were so extremely pleased! We each got the Piccata (chicken and veal). Flavor was amazing, portions were very large and prices very proportionate to what you get! We were both so pleased and can’t wait to come back! So glad Calabria is still here!

My wife, and 2 friends ate there last night, and it was absolutely delicious ,the prices were very reasonable, and the portions were big. The service was also very good. Gnocci was overcooked and slimy. Red sauce was bland. Broccoli was soggy, clearly not roasted as claimed. Carrot cake was stale. And who puts slices of hard-boiled egg in their lasagna? Thoroughly disappointed. Threw out most of it.

My boyfriend and I had a very good meal recently. The service was very good, as well. My problem with my first evening inside a restaurant in months due to covid was the fact that the restaurant allowed a table of 10 people be seated at one long table when Mass. restaurant protocols states no more than 6 people be seated at a table. Rules are rules, and I was very uncomfortable with the situation. I don't plan on returning any time soon.

My wife and I went here to celebrate Valentine's Day and had a fantastic experience. Our server, Lexi, was very kind and helpful. The food was great. I had haddock with crab and my wife had a chicken cutlet with ravioli and mushrooms which was a special. We will definitely be back to try more of their delicious entrees.

We've been at least 6 times under new ownership and the meals have been outstanding! Have had chicken picatta, chicken parmesan, pasta with alfredo, delicious antipasto with home made dressing and this last time, lobster ravioli. The lobster ravioli was amazingly lobster flavorful with lobster meat sitting on top of them. To say the least we were extremely pleased with our experiences and quality of the food. They do a great job with table placement so as to keep guests socially distanced.

Took our daughter and son in law to Calabria Restaurant tonight for their anniversary. The food and service was phenomenal!! (I only wish we caught our servers name so I could mention her personally). The atmosphere is very relaxed but we felt very safe dining inside. Will definitely be returning!! Good Job! 👏🏼

Went last night for my birthday. First time there. I can not describe my entre with words because it was better than absolutely awesome. Scallops and Shrimp in a ricotta cream sauce with stuffed raviolis and roasted peppers & spinach. One of my top five meals ever! Service was great. Bartender Jordan made a perfect cosmo 🍸

Kind of hit and miss. I have been here quite a few times since it’s the best Italian close to the house. Sometimes the food is absolutely fantastic (see photo), other times it’s mediocre. Last visit my food was lukewarm and the mozzarella cheese topping was lacking. We ordered three spaghetti plates and they all had different portion sizes and different amounts of sauce. Service is always good and prices are reasonable.
